Go the eff to sleep...

what the eff is with bedtime battles...im tired of it. Is it really that bad. Is he afraid he is going to miss something?

I'm hungry
I'm not tired
I'm thirsty
I have to go potty
I need tickles

It does not matter how many times I give him the warning, 5 more minutes, 2 more minutes, 1 show then bed, after this snack, after this book, right after I stand on my head...sigh. Why is this such a battle, you would think he would get over it after a few days of the battle but nope, we got a fighter. Bedtime sucks in this house.

He has his bath, bedtime snack, teeth brushed, books read, tickling be had and then we hear it..."mommy I need..." "daddy come here..." Is there a trick I missed from the "oh perfect mother manual". I run low on patience in this area, definitely not my strong point. It's the delaying, the lies, the pretend gotta potty. damn I totally get this...  best bedtime story


Will this get easier?

Literally happening right now...

"mommy, daddy,  I need a snack, I need a snack!" He is like a gremlin, don't water after midnight.
